Setting up a Billion 5100 or 5102 to connect to Comcen ADSL

Connect the Billion BPIAC 5100 or 5102 to the power, phone line and network to your PC.

Turn it on and wait about 1 minute for it to boot up and establish an ADSL signal.

Load Internet Explorer.

Type the following in the address bar: 192.168.1.254

When prompted for a Username and Password, type:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin

Click on 'Wizard Setup' on the left-hand side.

Once the new page has loaded, scroll to the bottom and click the Next button.

Once the next page has loaded, type in the username and password fields:

  • Username: [Phonenumber]@Comcen.net.au
  • Password: [the password you selected when signing up with us]

NOTE: For Users in ACT, WA, NT, SA & TAS, use the following format: [phonenumber]@dsl.Comcen.net.au.

Once you have completed the Username and Password fields, click Next at the bottom of the page.

As soon as the new page loads, click the Save Settings button.

Give the router 1 minute to connect to the internet.

You are now connected to the internet!

To check you are connected, click the Start diagnose button to test, you should pass all of the tests on the screen.
