NB2 configuration for Windows XP

Step 1

Insert the installation disk into your CD Drive and an Autolaunch will start the installation of your modem.
Click on the Install NB2 Drivers button.

Step 2

A DSL Modem Setup Wizard window will come up. Click on the Next button.

Step 3

A License Agreement will come up. Click on Accept.

Step 4

Make sure that 01 - Most Australian ISP’s (PPPoA) is selected and then click on the Next button.

Step 5

Click on the Next button.

Step 6

You will now need to reboot your computer. Make sure that "Yes, reboot the computer now" is selected and then click on Close button.

Step 7

When you see the below message appear on the screen you will be required to connect your ADSL modem to the computer for the rest of the installation to be complete.

Step 8

You will now need to reboot your computer again so that the changes can take place. Make sure that "Yes, reboot the computer now" is selected and then click on Close button.

Step 9

Once you have rebooted your computer you will see a window pop up confirming the success of your installation.

Click on the Finish button.

Step 10

You will see a new NetComm ADSL PPP Connection icon on your desk top. Double click on it.

Step 11

In the Username field enter your user name ( eg. this would consist of your full ADSL number, including the area code, followed by the @Comcen.net.au).

In the Password field enter your password.

Click on the Dial button.

Step 12

You are now connected to the internet and are able to browse.
