ABSTRACT

Ghazy AA, Ghazi YA, Mahmoud KG, Farghaly AA, Chromosomal aberrations in buffalo with brucellosis and cattle with tuberculosis, Online Journal of veterinary Research, 11 (1) : 12-22, 2007. Chromosomal structural aberrations were found to be more frequent in buffaloes with brucellosis (5.40 ± 0.72) or cattle with tuberculosis (5.55 ± 0.52), than in non-infected controls (2.20 ± 0.45) and (3.11 ± 0.60), respectively. Chromosomal abnormalities may be implicated in the pathogenesis of brucellosis and bovine tuberculosis.
